These Terms of Use apply to the use of this Sandoz SA (Pty) Ltd (“Sandoz SA”) website (“Site”) and portions of other websites which are sponsored by Sandoz SA and which hyperlink to these Terms of Use.

By accessing and using this Sandoz SA website (“Site”), you agree to the following terms of use which govern the relationship between Sandoz SA and you, the User regarding the use of these websites and their content (“Terms of Use”). You further undertake not to use the Site in any manner that may violate these Terms of Use or any applicable law. This Site is owned and operated by Sandoz SA. Sandoz SA is the name we use to refer to our whole business, including any subsidiaries and affiliates globally. The words we or our shall mean Sandoz SA. These Terms of Use do not apply to other websites owned by Sandoz SA as these are subject to their own terms of use. 

By accessing and surfing this Site, you accept, without limitation, these Terms of Use and acknowledge that any other agreements regarding the use of this Site between you and Sandoz SA are replaced and of no force or effect. Sandoz SA may update these Terms of Use at any time without notice. You agree that the link will not appear on a website that a reasonable person may consider obscene, defamatory, harassing, grossly offensive, or malicious. 4. Information that you provide to us

Any information you send to the Site will be treated as non-personal, non-confidential, and non-proprietary (other than personal information, as defined in our Privacy Policy, and which will be subject to applicable privacy laws, in particular the laws of South Africa). Anything you send becomes the property of Sandoz SA for all purposes. Furthermore, Sandoz SA is free to use, without compensation to you, any ideas you send to the Site for any purpose whatsoever. Although Sandoz SA may, from time to time, monitor or review discussions, chats, postings, transmissions, message boards, and the like (“Content”) on or related to the Site, Sandoz SA is under no obligation to do so. Sandoz SA assumes no responsibility or liability arising from the Content nor for any error, defamation, omission, false information, promotional materials, obscenity, pornography, profanity, danger, privacy disclosure or inaccuracy contained in any Content shared via or related to the Site. This Site contains information about products and therapies authorized in South Africa and is intended to be viewed by residents of South Africa. If you live outside South Africa, you may see information on this Site about products or therapies that are not available or authorized in your country of residence. Consequently, visitors may be notified that certain sections of this Site are intended only for healthcare providers or only for certain users or certain countries. No license to or right in any such Trademarks is granted to or conferred upon you. 

If you use the materials or trademarks on this Site in a way that is not clearly allowed by these Terms of Use, you are violating your agreement with us and may be violating copyright, trademark, and other laws. In that case, we will automatically revoke your permission to use this Site. Title to the materials remains with us or with the authors of the materials contained on this Site. All rights not expressly granted are reserved. Any information on this Site is provided by Sandoz SA and is intended for general information purposes only. It is not intended to provide complete medical information and cannot replace the relationship that you have with your healthcare professional. Many pharmaceutical and medical device products listed are available when appropriate on prescription from a medical doctor or qualified medical professional only. 9. Medical side effects or adverse events 

If you believe that you have experienced any adverse events from a Sandoz SA product you should consult your physician, pharmacist or other healthcare provider immediately. You can also report these to us directly by visiting https://www.report.novartis.com/. Should you report any adverse events, Sandoz SA may need to contact you to find out more information and request consent to collect additional information. Data of this nature will not appear on this Site, in order to fulfill legal obligations concerning drug safety reporting, while maintaining your confidentiality.  In case of an adverse event or product issue we may need to store information about you on an anonymized basis, such as your demographic information. This information is required to be submitted to the Novartis Patient Safety department and / or Regulatory Authorities and / or License Partners. 

10. General

In addition to these Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy, you may be subject to additional terms when you access particular services or materials in this Site.

By using this Site, you agree that the only proper jurisdiction and venue for any dispute with Sandoz SA, or in any way relating to your use of this Site, is in the courts of South Africa. You further agree and consent to the jurisdiction in these courts in connection with any dispute involving these Terms of Use. These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of South Africa with respect to its conflict of laws principles.

If we become aware that you have violated any of the provisions contained in these Terms of Use, we may immediately take any corrective action, including, without limitation, Sandoz SA’ right to revoke your access to the Site, to remove any information, data and content posted on the Site at any time and without notice or to claim damages.
